Netflix has announced iHostage as the official title for their upcoming thriller, produced by Horizon Film. Inspired by the 2022 Apple Store hostage crisis in Amsterdam, iHostage offers a tense, multi-perspective look at the dramatic events.

Horizon Film reveals the six talented directors chosen for the upcoming police drama series Alpha 00, produced in collaboration with NTR. The series, set to air in 2025, will feature gripping cases like hostage situations and terrorist threats, with each episode directed by a different filmmaker. Written by Simon de Waal and showrun by Michiel van Jaarsveld, Alpha 00 offers a behind-the-scenes look at fictional Dutch police operations, with ongoing themes of corruption and personal trauma. The series is part of NPO’s talent development initiative.

Our hit series Sphinx is available for streaming on Streamz as of today, June 13th. The series was originally released in the Netherlands on March 22nd exclusively by Videoland but has since been sold by sales agent Mediawan to Streamz for a Belgium release on June 13th. All six episodes will be exclusively available for Belgium binge-watching on Streamz from today.
